Coming in preparation for the Christmas shopping season is the announcement that Minneapolis-based retail company Target will carry Apple’s iPads starting October 3rd. They will sell for the MSRP, but will also give a 5% discount for purchasers with a Target credit card or debit card, starting on the 17th.
That was this statement reportedly said by Best Buy CFO, Brian Dunn, when talking to the Wall Street Journal while explaining, that the iPad ‘had cannibalized sales from laptop PCs by as much as 50%’.
