Short Film Competition – BAFTA Qualifying ASFF 2015
BAFTA Qualifying ASFF 2015 is now open for entries. Looking for filmmakers who are driving the genre of short film forward through inspirational and innovative works. Whether you are an established or emerging practitioner, they want to hear from you. The deadline for entry is 31 May 2015. Accepting films in all genres: advertising, animation, artists’ film, comedy, documentary, drama, experimental, fashion, music video and thriller. Enter for your chance to be screened at the BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2015. Fabulous Film at Sundance Film Festival Shot using iPhone 5s and FiLMiC Pro App
This is fabulous and is exactly why we promote mobile movies within our dedicated Column on TheAppWhisperer, edited by Donna Donato. The Sundance Film Festival is known for showcasing more experimental films, but none more so than transgender prostitute movie Tangerine, shot almost entirely with the iPhone 5S. Sean Baker’s comedy drama follows a trans woman on a Christmas Eve hunt for the Hollywood pimp who left her heartbroken.
