Hipstamatic’s goal was to create an experience that truly captures the emotion of a moment that a still image just can’t. The collection marks the first time in over 100 years that Swarovski has partnered in a collaboration of this scale, fully integrating its branding into the Samsung collection. Here’s what they say: “With technology and fashion so deeply intertwined, we at Samsung want to support our customers in expressing themselves through technological innovation and great…
iPhone Art Book Now Available – ‘A Small Amount of Courage’ by Karen Divine
We’ve known about this upcoming book for sometime and it’s with great pleasure that we can announce the book is now available. It consists of ’64 images loosely based on the 64 Hexagrams of the iChing. Each image is created first, the understanding and insights followed’. Karen Divine explains, ‘As an artist, tapping into your own creative spirit is, first and foremost, a matter of developing awareness. This inner awareness allows you to quiet the senses and allows the unconscious to reveal rich imagery. As Rainer Maria Rilke expressed so beautifully in Letters to a Young Poet, “describe your sorrows and desires, the thoughts that pass through your mind and…

Chances are that you only want to add part of one image to another, and we’ve discussed many ways to mask out a background, so that you’re only adding a portion of the top image. There’s masking in iColorama, Superimpose, LayerPic and Background Eraser (among those we’ve covered) and Photoshop Touch, Filterstorm, Leonardo and Handy Photo…
