    RED Epic Sensor Reviews – Kevin Carter/DxOMark and More…

    Kevin Carter our Head of Technical Hardware as well as the Lead Technical Editor/Consultant for DxOMark, the British Journal of Photography among many others has just completed some huge technical reviews for DxOMark. Not least the RED Epic Dragon review ‘the first camera to break the 100-point DxOMark sensor score barrier’. He’s also reviewed the Leica X Vario sensor, the Leica S sensor, the Olympus Stylus 1 sensor, the Sony Alpha A500 sensor and a range of the best lenses for the Sony Alpha A300 both primes and zooms.     Yesterday we published a great introductory tutorial by David Hayes relating to PhotoMotion and to help you gain the most from this new app, if you missed that, please go here. The developers EastCoastPixels have just updated this app and added support for adjusting photo duration timing for all photos and individual photos. A control to enable the video end fade optional has also been included. There’s also been a few user issues fixed.
