Number One – Oggl

photo apps

My favorite photo app right now is Oggl.  It is a Hipstamatic camera/sharing app that is fun for staying in the moment, but also allows for film and lens changes later on. Beware, it is addicting!

Free/download (paid subscription)

Number Two – Repix

Repix is my favorite painting app of the moment.  It is extremely easy to use and effects can be adjusted using the undo brush.  It offers more control than other painting apps that I’ve found so far and has some really great effects to play with.

Number Three – Juxtaposer

Juxtaposer has had a spot in my favorite app folder as long as I have had a favorite app folder.  It is the easiest cut and paste that I have found so far, and I like that I can save stamps that I make to use over and over.

Juxtaposer – $2.99/£1.99/download

Number Four – Lens Light

Lens Light is a fun app to add stars, moons, suns, flares, rainbows, and many other effects to photos.  What makes it so great is the flexibility of control over the color and brightness of the effects.  It adds just a little extra something special.

Number Five – Color Lake

Color lake is the best way to add reflective water to your photos.  It’s super easy and almost too much fun.  I have to tried not to overdo this one, but it can be really difficult!

That color lake photo is great. Color lake has slipped into an the forgotten apps folder for me because I felt it was so limited but the way Ali has transformed it gets my creative juices flowing and all kinds of new ideas are coming to mind! Nicely done.
