Draw The Line – Second Challenge Results and Showcase – #PowerMarks

We are delighted to publish our second video showcase from our Draw the Line Column by our editor, Carol Wiebe. This time we asked you to contribute to our #PowerMarks challenge. Wiebe has selected the very best images from our Flickr, Facebook and Instagram Groups related to this column. Please take a look at this video to view the high level of work that continues to astound us, usually daily. If you would like to be featured in the future, please ensure you’re contributing your images to these groups (below) so we can find and and include your work. Huge thanks to Carol Wiebe and to all she has included here (foreword by Joanne Carter).

Art included in this video is by the following artists: Dale Bradshaw Botha, Violet Martins, Stef LP, Pati John, Linda Hollier, Judy Lurie Wahlberg, Deborah McMillion,  Peter Wilkin, Meri Walker, Diane Neubauer, Damian De Souza, Rita Colantonio, Kate Zari Roberts, Catherine Schell Caddigan.

“Thank you to each and every one of you who contributed an image to the #PowerMarks challenge. I admire your tenacity for creating in the midst of all that life throws in the way of taking the time to express yourself. Know that your work is worthwhile, if for no other reason than you let it come through you, which means it has affected both you and the world around you. I take time to view each image with that in mind, knowing the inspiration that birthed it, the hand that worked on it, the heart and mind that attempted to communicate through it, are all worthy of contemplation. I offer you a reverent congratulations”.
