Amazon’s App Store Launches, Then Goes Down
Amazon were in a positive frame of mind last night when they rolled out the long awaited App Store for Android. It was going swell with newbies to the store being rewarded with a free copy of Angry Birds Rio, definitely something to chirp about. However, things have just gone pear shaped and the store is down. It’s probably just a few teething problems and surely nothing to do with Apple’s Lawsuit with the App Store patent – we will see, stand by and we’ll keep you informed…
By the way, any apps you have already downloaded to your phone should still be working fine…
