The Alexia Foundation is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its 2015 Professional and Student Grants. The deadline for submissions for the Professional Grant is 2 p.m. Jan. 29, 2015. The deadline for the Student Grant is 2 p.m. on Feb. 2, 2015. The goal of The Alexia Foundation Grants is to give voice to those who go unheard, foster cultural understanding and expose social injustice. Creation (Photographie) Mobile – 4 -5 December 2014 – Live Stream Now Available – TheAppWhisperer
Between October 21st and November 23rd, 2014, a call for entries was organized: focusing on Mobile (Photographic) Creation, the initiative was the result of a partnership between the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3, the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art, and the blog Photophores, dedicated to the promotion of emerging photography. The organisers received 125 applications demonstrating ‘an immense array of creative work done with mobile technology, from smartphones, tablets, and even drones’. Mobile Photo Awards 2014 – Only Four More Days Left To Enter!
If you haven’t entered the Mobile Photo Awards (MPAs), there are only four more days left to do so. The Mobile Photography Awards is the world’s longest running annual event and international competition promoting mobile phone art and photography. The MPA was founded in 2011 to recognize and celebrate the talent and imagery of the mobile phone photography & art communities.
