NEM/The Hungry Ghost – ‘Void’ Competition
NEM and The Hungry Ghost Facebook group are running a new competition. They have invited artists to create artwork that depicts the term ‘Void’. Sixteen artists’ works have now been selected and they are now involved in a vote with the public. After one week the top three will be determined and each with have a t-shirt printed of their image as a prize, in addition these three will also have T-shirts produced and auctioned off for charity. Mob-Entrepreneurs – New Section On The App Whisperer
We have set up a new section on TAW today, entitled ‘Mob-Entrepreneurs’ – this is special area where we can highlight all of the many fabulous ventures that mobile photographers and artists are involved in. Whether that includes mobile photography courses they’re running, or t-shirts they’re printing or even exhibitions they are hosting, you will find it all here. HarrisCamera is a very popular app for iPhone photography recreating the Harris shutter effect, taking mulitple exposures via several colored filters. 2014 Sony World Photography Awards open for entries
The 2014 Sony World Photography Awards, organised by the World Photography Organisation, opens for entries today. Professional, amateur, youth and student photographers from across the world can enter their best work for free at www.worldphoto.org.Photographers will compete for a range of cash prizes and the latest digital imaging equipment from Sony.
