iPhoneography – Instagram – Updated
We all know by now that 15 million users lover Instagram and that number is increasing every day. Well we think following this update that number may well increase even more rapidly. That’s due in part to the faster processing of images, meaning you can shoot faster and a few other minor bug fixes. Mac – Snapheal – Updated
MacPhun have updated Snapheal their highly succesful Mac app. This latest version 1.1 now includes a performance boost for erase tool, making it more than 2x faster. There’s also overall memory usage and performance improvements, significant performance optimization for the ‘clone and stamp’ tool. There’s also gesture support and UI and bug fixes. iOS – Prince of Persia Classic – New
Originally under press embargo until 5 pm GMT this evening, Ubisoft has decided to let rip and bring that forward. So, without further ado we can now reveal this awesome looking game. It’s available on both iPad and iPhone and looks set to be a massive hit. It’s the old tale with a new skin, you can relive the classic or play for the first time. Android – Kodak Gallery – Updated
Perhaps not the Kodak inspired news you were expecting to read but on a positive note Kodak have updated their photo sharing app for Android. It’s full of new features including the facility to delete albums and photos, rotate images, share single images with social sharing, download a photo to your phone, set as wallpaper and lastly the facility to order prints and create photo products from your photos. Android – Skitch for Android – Updated
This is a very much needed update to this excellent app. Strangely in the earlier version it was not possible to save images to your SD card, but anyway, now you can. As well as that you can also draw on maps and sketch and share a route or point out a location. You can also easily move and resize text around without switching tools. iOS – Flipboard – Updated
Named Apple’s iPad App of the year and one of TIME’s Top 50 Innovations, Flipboard creates a personalized magazine out of everything being shared with you. Flip through your Facebook newsfeed, tweets from your Twitter timeline, photos from Instagram friends and much more. This is a huge update with Cover Stories now coming to the iPad edition.
