Mobile Art Saturday Poetry – The Piano by Stephen Gibson

I get a bit too excited when beetroot season is in full swing. I celebrate with variations on concoctions of dishes (disclosure – I love to cook). After I’ve got past the Lady MacBeth hand scrubbing moment, I slice it really thinly, brush with oil and roast in a hot oven but as we are having a huge heat alert, this weekend I really don’t want to use the oven. So, I’ve decided I can either make beetroot gnocchi, with mashed potatoes, beetroot, flour, salt and oil and cook on the stove or I can go full out with the barbecue and create a beetroot, chickpea and halloumi salad, I…
