MIRA Mobile Art Prize 2022 – Results
We are delighted to announce the Winner’s and the entire Shortlist of the 13th edition of the 2022 Annual MIRA Mobile Art Prize, created by Manuela Matos Monteiro and supported by TheAppWhisperer among others within the Mobile Art World. The award celebrates contemporary art within six specific categories, these include, Landscape, Portrait, Daily Life, Architecture, Minimal and Digital Art. This weeks mobile photography and art showcase is wholly dedicated to our dear friend, Teresita Alonso Garit, developer of the hugely popular mobile app, iColorama. Coventry University offers exciting artist in residence opportunities amid huge arts redevelopment
Coventry University in England, UK is offering paid artist in residence opportunities, providing talented artists with the chance to contribute to its major Arts and Humanities estates redevelopment in the city centre. The university is seeking to bring in artists specialising in a wide variety of vibrant disciplines to produce bespoke artwork in response to the major development and the cultural history of the faculty. You may have heard of Dr Megan Poe, she is a 46 year old psychiatrist and associate professor who teaches an undergraduate course on love, which she designed at New York University. It has achieved overwhelming success. The course is called ‘Love Actually’ and attempts to pack as much about the human experience of love in, as is possible. The course leans heavily on the work of Eric Fromm, the psychologist best known for his 1956 book, The Art of Loving.
