Mobile Photography/Art – Saturday Poetry – ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat’ by Lewis Carroll
I am introducing a new section, simply titled, Saturday Poetry. Each Saturday I will publish a poem and I will also try to link a mobile photography image, that has been uploaded to our Instagram hashtag #theappwhisperer during the week. Today, I am publishing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat’ by Lewis Carroll. It is a poem recited by the Mad Hatter in chapter seven of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865). It is a parody of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. APPart – Mobile Art – Pantone Color of the Day – ‘Deep Claret’ – TheAppWhisperer
Many of you have already seen our new segment to our APPart column here at TheAppWhisperer, edited by Bobbi McMurry. We would like to inspire all mobile artists to create one image a day using the selected colour of Pantone’s ‘Color of the Day’ – see here (we will announce the colour each day). As well a ‘Color of the Day’, Pantone also link that colour with adjectives and/or nouns. Mobile Movies Showcase – Week 63 – TheAppWhisperer
Welcome the sixty third showcase in our Mobile Movies Column, curated and edited by Vanessa Vox and Giulia Baita. Every two weeks Vox and Baita will curate the movie uploads to our Flickr group MobileMoviesTheAppWhisperer. They will view all the videos uploaded and comment on the ones selected. Within this selection today, both Vox and Baita have curated the movies and Giulia has written the commentary for this week, this will alternate (foreword by Joanne Carter). Vivi Hanson Sacerdote Joins TheAppWhisperer as co-editor of StreetWise
We are delighted to welcome Vivi Hanson Sacerdote as a new co-editor to TheAppWhisperer StreetWise Column. We have long been admirers of her photography and she has contributed in so many ways over the past few years. Not least with her supporting role at The Photography Show in Birmingham earlier this year. Vivi is a committed and loyal believer in TheAppWhisperer and it’s with huge pleasure that we announce her new position with us today. Vivi will work alongside our Sheldon Serkin, they will both co-edit StreetWise.
