BACKYARD: A Global Mobile Photography open call for Head On Photo Festival 2013
Our Columnist Michael Baranovic, along with Oliver Lang have partnered with Head On Photo Festival and are inviting photographers from all around the world to submit mobile phone photographs on the theme of Backyard. The deadline for submissions is 12 Midnight Sunday 28 April 2013. They will select 30 winning photographs that will then go on to be exhibited in the historic Superintendent’s Residence in Sydney’s public Centennial Park. The exhibition will run from May 17 to June 24. D-ive – First Mobile Photography Festival in Spain
This weekend – April 19th, 20th & 21st, 2013 will see the first mobile photography festival in Spain at the Edificio Disseny Hub Barcelona. There’s plenty on with conferences, workshops, photo-walks, masterclasses, speakers’ corner and more. Fernando Prats, who we have featured several times on theappwhisperer.com, will be presenting a workshop “Photographing in HDR”, this saturday, in four sessions. Virgin Money Giving has teamed up with Holly Branson to launch its new mobile website, designed in partnership with Usablenet, which will allow charities of all sizes take advantage of digital technology to boost donations in difficult economic circumstances. Schneider Releases iPro Series 2 Lenses for iPhone – New Macro Lens Announced
We are delighted to announce that Schneider have released a brand new iPro Series 2 system. The system now includes two additional lenses to the earlier fisheye, wide-angle and 2x tele.
