Flickr Group Showcase – TheAppWhisperer (TAW) – May 4, 2014
Wow! We have just produced our latest Flickr Group Showcase, the first one for May 2014 and it is incredible! It’s so full of meaning and atmosphere this week, we begin with a fabulous image entitled ‘Glow’ by Bruno Ribeiro and that leads us into incredible imagery, with many of the trials and tribulations of life/relationships played out this week. This is particularly poignant with the portraiture that it leads into and then we view some outstanding travel and street photography, we then move steadfastly into breathtaking painterly images and next we’re greeted and buoyed by beautiful bouquets and individual floral still life images each with subtle lighting, luscious landscapes…

Streets Ahead – Thirty Second Edition – Mobile Street Photography
Welcome to the 32nd edition of “Streets Ahead.” My Goodness, it’s hard to believe that we’re now in our 30’s! It’s also hard to believe that we’re already a few months into 2014. Yep. March is now upon us. However, as I’m sitting here writing this, I have a huge smile on my face that I can’t erase. For no other reason than March is “Women’s History Month.” Personally, I think that every day should be “Woman”s Day”… but I know that ain’t happening anytime soon. I am, however, grateful that this is the month where we become conscious and aware of all the wonderful and brilliant contributions women make…

Streets Ahead – Twenty Eighth Edition
Welcome to the twenty eighth edition of “Streets Ahead,” a weekly column dedicated to women mobile street photographers. Sorry that we’ve not been on a regular schedule these past few weeks. I take responsibility for this… because now that the holidays are upon us, I’ve found that my time and attention has been pulled in many different directions. However, once the New Year arrives, things should be “back to normal”… and I won’t be holding everyone up again.” I promise. We’ve had many wonderful images submitted to our Flickr group over the past few weeks. But unfortunately, as a result, I could not select only a few for comments. I…
