There’s almost an obsessional chemistry in Stone’s art, romanticised mythical beings plunged into epic confrontations and transformations with full force. There’s a through-line of emotion in his work, gravitating towards the light with an illusion delivering a narrative of the vapidity of our current consumerist excess and the path towards redemption. We created our Mob-Entrepreneurs section many moons ago, this is a select area and we only choose to mention projects that we truly believe in. It reflects the work of mobile photographers and artists who are pushing the boundaries of their talent into other areas. These could be workshops, app development, exhibitions anything that draws in others to our magical world. World Photography Organisation – Overall winners revealed: 2018 Sony World Photography Awards
We are delighted to reveal the overall winners of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards. All the winners, including those from the Professional, Open, Student and Youth competitions, were announced at a prestigious award ceremony in central London. The successful images will now go on display at the 2018 Exhibition, London, until 6th May. Don’t miss one of the most diverse and exciting photography exhibitions of the year!
