What was your childhood or earliest ambition?
To become a scientist.
First Recognition?
Teacher compliments.
First Job?
A messenger.
Private or State school?
State or as its called on our side of pond,”Public” school.
University or Work?
Work
Who was or is still is your mentor?
Very hard question to answer. Possibly no one.
How physically fit are you?
Pretty Fit for my age. It’s 63 for people who are curious.
Ambition or talent: What matters more to success?
Another difficult question, though I would say both, because ambition can lead to talent.
How politically committed are you?
I follow US and European politics. I consider myself committed by the fact that I still vote in all elections I’m permitted too.
What would you like to own that you don’t currently possess?
A full frame DSLR.
What’s your biggest extravagance?
Rare Cuban Cigars.
In what places are you happiest?
Home and in almost any park.
What ambitions do you still have?
To complete a book of photos shot entirely by an iPhone.
What drives you on?
An active imagination and a thirst for color.
What is the greatest achievement of your life so far?
A fabulous marriage and loving family.
What do you find most irritating in other people?
Their lack of compassion.
If your 20 year old self could see you now, what would he think?
So that’s what I became.
Which object that you’ve lost do you wish you still had?
Common Sense, no, but seriously the first camera I was ever given. It was a Russian 35mm.
What is the greatest challenge of our time?
To live in peace and harmony.
Do you believe in an afterlife?
Yes, and in UFO’s and Aliens too!
If you had to rate your satisfaction with your life so far, out of 10, what would you score?
Thus far, a 9.
