Don’t panic, I’m not about to strip off but I was intrigued by this article in the Mail Online today. A new photography project featuring naked Mormon women ‘hopes to shed light on the religion’s strict codes of modesty’. Well that’s what the blurb says and I wonder if it’s true. I think images of naked women, at least ‘natural images’ have always and will continue to be controversial in society, whatever religion has to say about it. Diesel Fashion Shoot – Shot Entirely With An iPhone
Macworld have picked up a story relating to Diesel’s latest fashion shoot by British Photographer Nick Knight, shot entirely with an iPhone. Diesel’s Artistic Director, Nicola Formichetti then edited the images directly on the iPhone with relevant photo editing apps. A spokesman for Diesel was quoted as saying, “That it hoped to capitalize “on the multitude of photo and video apps available today to bring images that reinvent the way consumers perceive the brand’s aesthetic and as a nod to the future of fashion image construction.” We hope to uncover more about this story and will report back…
