    Apple has released their latest update today to help fix the battery issues that have plagued the iPhone 4S since its launch. There’s also a security fix in this update for the iPad 2 issue whereby a Smart Cover or similar allowed limited access to a passcode locked device. This update is compatible with iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, the iPad and iPad 2 and 3rd and 4th generation iPod Touches. So, to get going with this, just plug your idevice into iTunes and get downloading – beaware though this update weighs in at just over 55 MB.

    Apple today released iOS 4.3.2 that includes bug fixes and security updates. The update applies to the GSM iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 and iPad 2, and the 3rd and 4th-generation iPod touches. The bug fixes are said to include a fix for a bug that caused video to go blank or become frozen during FaceTime calls and another bug that kept some international iPad users with 3G models from connecting to local cellular networks. iOS 4.3.2 does not apply to the Verizon iPhone 4, which has its own update available today as well. iOS 4.2.7 for the CDMA iPhone 4 includes bug fixes and security updates.     AppleInsider reports this morning that the latest developer iOS 4.3 beta 2 release mentions a new MobileMe-based Photo Stream picture sync feature, supposedly part of a new Media Stream service and in addition includes versions of a standalone FaceTime and PhotoBooth app for iPad.
