With the Nokia Imaging SDK 1.1, you have access to a powerful library of exciting image manipulation tools, which makes creating the next generation of imaging apps for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.1 devices quicker and easier. Designed from the ground up with performance and a low memory footprint in mind, the library’s functions don’t put a strain on the user’s device, which makes editing high resolution images swift and engaging. 2014-02-24 / Comments Off on Nokia welcomes Android developers – TheAppWhisperer

Today at Mobile World Congress, Nokia unveiled five new affordable handsets including a new family of smartphones debuting on the Nokia X software platform. Will Nokia Launch An Android Phone This Month?

2014-02-11 / Comments Off on Will Nokia Launch An Android Phone This Month?

Well that’s the rumour, The Wall Street Journal reports that Nokia will launch its ‘Normandy’ phone at Mobile World Congress later on this month. For technical reasons, Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system doesn’t yet work on the low-cost smartphones that have become big sources of growth, particularly in emerging markets’. We’ll be reporting all this and more news from the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona…
