Defen-G Astro, an action game for the iTunes market, officially released a new version of the app last week called Defen-G Astro POP. This version offers three new in-app weapon purchases: Red Scorpion, Black Turtle, Apple Cannoneer. "Defen-G Astro POP is Defen-G Astro with different items," said the Defen-G Marketing Team.

"We released it in order to let more people download and enjoy Defen-G." Defen-G development company innodis stated that the reason for the new version is to add new, exciting features to the app at a lower cost. "We developed this new version in order to give more people an opportunity to download Defen-G with a lower price, but with different in-app-purchase frame," said the Defen-G Marketing Team.

The Defen-G team sees the new version as a chance to re-vamp the game without stepping on the toes of existing users. "If we just update the original Defen-G Astro, then the former downloaders have to buy some units which they were using for free before," said the Defen-G Marketing Team.
