With the iPad 3 due very soon now it seems that not only are some individuals trying to rid themselves of the soon to be outdated iPad 2’s but also a big box retailer in the US has dropped the selling price of the iPad 2 by $70, meaning you can pick up the 16 GB, Wi-Fi version for just $429. There’s a bunch of accessories on offer too, including the Smart Cover with $5 off making the selling price just $35.
If you’re not in the market for an iPad 2 then Meijer will give you a $15 iTunes gift card if you pick up an 8GB iPod Touch from them for $195 this week.
Appleinsider also reports that last year Best Buy offered $45 off all iPad 2 models in a Black Friday frenzy but they’ve never seen such a steep drop as $70. Something tells us the iPad 3 is going to be awesome…
