NEW Mobile Photography/Art Competition – mDAC15 – TheAppWhisperer

I am so excited about this free to enter competition – the Mobile Digital Art and Creativity Summit (mDAC15).  The mDAC Summit will feature work of more than 100+ fine artists, illustrators and photographers from all over the world with work exclusively created on iPhones, iPads, Androids and Surface tablets and other mobile devices. This event is sponsored by the Palo Alto Art Center, California, US and hosted by the Mobile Art Academy.  This is the second year for this competition and I have posted a video of last years event for you to view.

This is a juried competition and I am honoured to have been asked to be the sole juror for this entire event.

There are three categories to enter, Mobile Digital Art, Mobile Photography Art and Layer Magic. The submission deadline for entry is May 31st, 2015. The top 100 artworks will be announced on June 18th,2015.

The top 3 artworks & People Choice Award winners will be announced during the grand opening day – August 7th, 2015.

The 3-day weekend kicks off on Friday, August 7th with the Grand Opening of the Annual Mobile Digital Art Exhibition, displaying the work of over 100 artists and, once again, attracting major media attention.

The Grand Opening is followed by a two-day Summit with a packed program of workshops, seminars and masterclasses attracting artists and educators from across the country.
