The Passing of Cheryl Tarrant, Developer of Distressed FX
We are so sorry inform you of the passing of our Cheryl Tarrant, developer of the Distressed FX app on 6 October 2023. This news comes with a heavy heart, as she was such an integral part of our mobile art and photography community but not only that, she was a friend to many of us too.
We understand that this loss is deeply affecting us all. In remembrance of Cheryl, we hope to arrange a memorial event showcase of works by mobile artists who have not only adored Cheryl but also her creation of the Distressed FX app. Please send your images to [email protected] to enable me to create this. Her journey towards becoming The App Whisperer, includes (but is not limited to) working for a paparazzi photo agency for several years and as a deputy editor for a photo print magazine.
