The Quilt Project Book to Join The British Library
I am extremely excited and honoured to announce today that having been in conversation with The British Library they have agreed to accept our Quilt Project book into their collection. After explaining all what our book entails, they expressed to me “Joanne, yes, The Quilt Project book is absolutely suitable for the British Library Collection. We very much look forward to receiving your publication”.
The British Library is the national library of the United Kingdom and offers access to the world’s most comprehensive research collection. They also provide information services to academic, business, research and scientific communities.
Within their collection of over 170 million items they include artefacts from every age of written civilisation. They keep the nation’s archive of printed and digital publications. For The British Library to include our Quilt Project book into their collection is testament and a true honour to all of us involved with this project.
I hope once we can all travel again and many of you return to London, that I can personally accompany you, if you would like me to, to the British Library and show you our book in residence. It will be there for generations to come…take a look at the video below.

We do it because we are passionate about it and because we want others to be as passionate too.
