TIPA Award 2012 goes to Nik Software for Snapseed
Nik Software (www.niksoftware.com) has been recognized with the prestigious Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Award for Snapseed in the Best Mobile Photo App category. TIPA emphasized that Snapseed offers an original and comprehensive set of tools and stands out for its functionality and intuitive handling of photos. Snapseed is a new generation of photography software that inspires everyone, everywhere to enjoy photography. High quality results are now fast, easy, and fun.

Joanne Carter is a British photographer, photography journalist, editor and curator and the founder and editorial director of TheAppWhisperer.com, an independent international photography publication established in 2009.Her journalism, criticism and commentary have appeared in The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Financial Times, BBC, Vogue Italia, LensCulture, Popular Photography, Android Magazine, NikonPro, DPReview, Which Digital Camera and Which Camera.
