Mobile Photography – Instagram Takeover with @Psychephoto – Days 5, 6 and 7
Our first ever Instagram TAKEOVER has been a huge success and all our thanks go to @psychephoto – Robin Cohen for this. We entrusted her with the keys to our Instagram account and she has honoured us all with her thought provoking curation, compassion and care. Cohen is a respected and talented artist, a professional psychoanalyst and perhaps more importantly, to me personally at least, a good friend.
On days five, six and seven this week, Cohen highlighted three of our favourite mobile artists, @time.and.again – Amanda Parker as you can see in the first stunning image below, Parker has great ability with the slow shutter app and uses it to create the most stunning images, such as this beach shot. In the second image below you will see an image by @elizabadoiu – Eliza Badoiu, a very beautiful artist from Romania who uses self portrature to express herself in the most delightful way. In the third image Cohen highlights @kate.z.roberts – Kate Zari Roberts, an artist who manages to combine her smartphone photography skills to great effect over a wide range of genres. Day 6 Cohen describes as ‘a day for deep Zen and beauty’ this image enables us also to feel peace and tranquility. The fourth image selected by @psychephoto is one that we featured in our Sunday showcase too, it’s by @oolacristina – Oola Cristina and Cohen describes it as a ‘fantastical delight’ and we couldn’t agree more. Finally, in her last post on her final day, @psychephoto has published a stunning beach scene, it’s full of optimism and hope, mingled with unrestricted freedom of movement and liberty, it’s truly remarkable, enough to take our breathe away.
We are so grateful and so honoured that @psychephoto chose to take us up on our challenge for the past seven days, we have loved every single minute. Thank you, so much x
