Pixlr Express Plus – Temporary Price Drop
Pixlr Express Plus is a great relatively new app from the developers of Pixlr-o-matic among others. We recently mentioned it in Mel Harrison’s APPart column article – ‘The hungry ghost challenged’. It has the opacity and directional tools for all your favorite Pixlr-o-matic filters. So in effect you could use this app instead of Pixlr-o-matic from the outset. Usually Pixlr Express retails for $2.99/£1.99 but today you can pick it up for $0.99/£0.69. Click here to download.

Our Daily App Giveaway – Process
We mentioned this app, Process, just a few days ago, it’s currently sporting a huge price drop from $14.99/£10.99 to $2.99/£1.99. Due in part to it’s high initial price, it’s come in for quite a lot of stick. Many users report that it does not save in high res for example. The developer has explained that “Process does have a high res option available in Settings. It also allows you to change JPEG compression. Both of these are set to make smaller, more shareable files by default. If you want full resolution on your 4s or 5, just change those defaults.” Would you like to try it for free? Join…
AnyShape – Photo Editor – Updated
We’ve mentioned this app several times here and our Head of Technical Tutorials, David Hayes has written some excellent tutorials based on it too, if you’ve missed those you can read them here. This update now includes increased zooming capabilitiy tenfold to provide more control and allow greater precision when working with images captured by older devices with significantly lower resolution cameras. There’s a bunch of other fixes but perhaps (at least to us) the most important part of this update is an integrated TheAppWhisperer icon within the app to go straight to read our tutorials – excellent update! This is a free update, if you have previously downloaded this…
