RIP Final Cut Express/Server/Studio
Apple has discontinued Final Cut Express, Final Cut Server products and the Final Cut Studio Suite. A ‘person familiar with Apple’s retail operations’ told Appleinsder that with the release of Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5 and Compressor 4 the aforementioned products are now deceased. What About The Retailers? If you’re a retailer the same source explained that you will be entitled to return any boxed copies of the above products to Apple. Final Cut Pro X along with Motion 5 and Compressor 4 are only available via the Mac App Store.

Apple Puts Back Launch of Final Cut Studio Until 2011
We’ve all been desperate to get our hands on the latest release of Final Cut Studio and were expecting to do so in 2010, seems we’re all going to have to wait until 2011 now after Apple’s Final Cut Studio team reported the development has suffered ‘significant setbacks’.
