New Apple Software Updates Due Today – Rumor
AppleInsider is reporting that Apple will launch Mac OS X 10.6.5 and iTunes 10.1 today and iOS 4.2 for iPhone and iPad this Friday, November 12, 2010. iPad I can’t wait to get hold of iOS 4.2 for the iPad, we’ve all been waiting a long time for this, it will be necessary to install iTunes 10.1 too. iOS 4.2 should be bringing AirPrint and AirPlay to the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad so that you can wirelessly print and stream music and video to connected devices. Apple – iOS 4.2 beta 2 and iTunes 10.1 beta
If you’re an iOS developer then head over to the Developer Center and download Apple’s latest iOS 4.2 beta and iTunes 10.1 beta to start testing with. This version is apparently less buggy and hopefully once this is approved, will officially be released it in November 2010. This beta is for the iPhone, iPod Touch – albeit not the first generation and the iPad. The release comes roughly in line with Apple’s typical timeframe of releasing betas every two weeks, as the first beta arrived September 15.
