ShutterSnitch – Updated And Our Daily App Giveaway – Worth $15.99/£10.99
ShutterSnitch is an excellent app, it allows you to wirelessly transfer images to your iPad from your Eye-Fi card, Canon, Nikon or other filetransmitter that supports uploading to an FTP server over your wireless network. When a JPEG arrives, ShutterSnitch analyzes it and warns you if anything differs from the rules you’ve set up. For now shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focal length, and light level is checked. This app has just been updated allowing you to upload photos to Facebook accounts that you’re an adminstrator for. The developers have also brought back the Backpack Mode. Nokia 808 PureView Pitched Against Pentax 645D
You may recall we mentioned only hours ago that dpreview had published a six page comprehensive review of the Nokia 808 PureView smartphone. Some of comments from readers reflected their desire to see this device pitched against ‘a real camera’. Well PetaPixel managed to find a Spanish website that has done just that. Possibly another rumor but we’re also quite certain it’s not too far from the truth, iMore has revealved that Apple is planning to debut the new iPhone and the iPad Mini at a special event on September 12, 2012 and the iPhone 5 will be available to purchase 9 days later, as yet there is no ‘confirmation’ on the availablility of the iPad Mini.
