The arrangement goes into effect immediately and includes Time, Fortune, and Sports Illustrated magazines and their respective iPad apps. Our App Of The Day – AutoPainter HD

2011-04-26 / Comments Off on Our App Of The Day – AutoPainter HD

Automatically turn your photos into authentic looking paintings. The result from this highly addictive software will look pretty much like a real painted art: zoomed in or zoomed out.  AutoPainter is actually not an effect, it is the closest thing to watching a real painter. It uses the photo as a reference and automatically paints the scene with different brushes, guided by real-world artists inspired techniques.  And as with real painters if you paint the same image multiple times you will get slightly different result.  As our App of the Day, all our regular readers know the trailer for this app will feature on every page of our site for…

Photosmith – An iPad App To Sync With Adobe Lightroom

    2011-04-26 / 3 Comments

Photosmith is a fantastic brand new app to hit the App Store that allows you to improve your workflow with Lightroom in situ. Despite Adobe rushing around releasing iPad apps they seem to of overlooked Lightroom. Photosmith allows photographers to take their pictures in the field, download them to the iPad, and use Photosmith to review their images, add to custom collections, filter by certain criteria, assign metadata, and filter by that data. Photosmith also fills a critical gap in the photographer’s current mobile workflow- allowing full 1:1 zoom of even 21 megapixel RAW images. As C Squared Enterprises put it themselves ‘Photsmith is the culmination of the blood, sweat,…
