The full 3D remake released in 2006 duplicated the original’s success, selling over a million copies worldwide. FINAL FANTASY III was a hallmark of innovation for the entire series, from the job system that lets characters change classes at any time to the ability to summon powerful creatures such as Shiva and Bahamut. When darkness falls and the land is robbed of light, four youths are chosen by the crystals to set forth on a…

VinylLove – Bringing Nostalgia Back Into Your Life
If you’re anything like us at theappwhisperer.com the joy of choosing a record in a record shop is a love lost many a time ago. Despite the ‘record’ success of Record Store Day on April 16, 2011 this year, it is sadly still a dying institution. Not least of course, with the surge of the iTunes store. But perhaps this app will help combine the two and bring some nostalgia back into your life. VinylLove turns your iPad into a sleek and beautiful turntable. That sits perfectly on your desk stand on top or next to your stereo system. And that you can carry around with you everywhere you go.…
Exclusive Interview Questions: Ballast Lane Applications, LLC for Master Pieces: The Curator’s Game
We love Master Pieces: The Curator’s Game iOS app here at theappwhisperer.com. The games within the app are based on over 350 details from 54 masterpieces. They challenge you to identify the artist of a detail with help from clues and the ability to view the full work. There are three ways to play. The first two do not require any background in art history while the third is for those who know (or, think they know!) all about the classics. We are currently reviewing this app but in the meantime we wanted to interview the developer, Larry Ehrhardt to find out how this app came to be materialised and…

While dodging around hazards like thin ice, stubborn seals, jumping swordfish and angry sharks, other creatures such as turtles and whales can give a ride or another boost on his path. The endless Survival mode will mix things up for a fresh challenge, or items can be used to help get through the 100 stages…

Royal Wedding 2011 iOS App Review
It’s not long to go now until the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, as a matter of fact, according to the Royal Wedding 2011 app, it is precisely 17 days and 18 hours away. The excitement is really growing not just in the UK but all around the world. Speaking from personal experience I can report that it’s getting difficult to even shop around the supermarket for ‘normal’ groceries between all the bunting, Union flags and Prince William champagne that is now adorning the shelves. With this being such a significant wedding it is very appropriate that there are now some great Royal Wedding apps within the…
