Lately, I have been thinking about love, what it means, how we must face our fears in order to enjoy it and the costs of not doing so. Psychologists tell us that love doesn’t have to be complicated and yet, it is. The quote below, I think sums it up very well. “Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. Described in the press as ‘the saddest week in showbiz’ following the tragic deaths of David Bowie and Alan Rickman and more… this showcase has a melancholy feel. Sadness has its place, despair is universal. However, this is a showcase not for the conflicted chronicler, it is one for us all to love and appreciate all of the formidable obstacles that lay ahead of us, to find solace and to share compassion and insight.
