Apple have published their best iPhone apps of 2011, the results vary from country to country store and we’ve taken a look at the Photography section of some of largest players in App Store terms. These include the UK, US, Canadian, Australian, Japanese and Chinese iPhone and iPad App Stores

UK App Store For iPhone

US App Store For iPhone



Similar to the listing from the UK app store without the Photogene mistake but also including Halftone and Photosynth.

Photosynth v1.1.1 is now available and better than ever! The developers listened to the 4,400,000+ users who’ve downloaded their app and added some of the most requested features. They’ve streamlined the sharing experience and added the option to share via email. They added functionality to save cropped versions of panoramas to the phone’s camera roll. US App Store For iPad


Pretty much the same as the UK app store other than the US has included Comic Book! as opposed to Strip Designer of the UK.

Comic Book! Realistic comic styling with a wide selection of: image filters, comic fonts, customizable captions, a library of classic comic graphics and dozens of multi-panel page layouts. 


Canadian App Store For iPhone


Similar to a combination of the UK and US app store but Canada has also included PhotoForge2.

Canadian App Store For iPad



Again similar to the US and UK app store winners but Canada has also included CollabraCam.

Australian App Store For iPhone



Similar to the aforementioned app stores but Australia has also included PhotoToaster.

PhotoToaster combines all the essential ingredients for photo processing in a single product. It employs fast non-destructive, high quality image adjustments and provides three different ways to adjust them. The Toaster can do everything from simple lighting adjustments and color corrections to elaborate effects. $1.99/£1.49/download

Australian App Store For iPad



Again, similar to the above stores but this time also include Pixlr-o-matic.

Pixlr-o-matic turns your photos into cool looking vintage images – editing is as easy as one, two, three. With this fun and simple darkroom app, you can layer filters, lighting and borders to get that retro grunge look in three simple steps. So many options to choose from, there are 25,000 possible finishes for any one image! 


Japanese App Store For iPhone



Similar to the other stores but Japan has also included WordFoto.

WordFoto – You’ve probably heard the tired cliche about a picture being worth a thousand words. The developers have taken this phrase quite literally and created WordFoto, an app that turns photos and words into amazing typographic works of art.


Japanese App Store For iPad



Very similar to a combination of the above stores but Japan has also included PhotoShake!

Photoshake allows you to easily combine one or more photos to make exciting and fun new images. PhotoShake is a photo editing program that you can use to share photos with family and friends on social networking sites.

Chinese App Store For iPhone



Again, similar to the above but also includes a country specific app. It’s free and you can download it here.

Chinese App Store For iPad



Almost identical to the US App Store for iPad, but China have included the iPad version of the country specific app, the same one they included in the iPhone round up. It’s also free and you can download it here.
