Instagram TAKEOVER with Marguerite Khoury (@artistunveiled) – Days 4 – 7 – As She Leaves Us
For the past week Marguerite Khoury @artistunveiled, has been publishing three of her images each day to our Instagram feed and it’s been enchanting.
I personally asked Khoury to take over our Instagram account for seven days because I know there are few visual pleasures as great as admiring Khoury’s imagery when she’s on song. The best are beauitfully crafted, arcing across an expansive stretch of emotions. Khoury is gloriously unconstrained in her self portraiture, this body of work is one grand fervor, one that risks everything and its sweep is magnificent, beginning as an pianissimo, building to a crescendo, with both amore and fuoco empowering the finale. Khoury is a woman who gracefully and passionately allows her photographs to take the form of one’s life story. Her great skill is the tuning and preparation of her imagery allowing her final images to display the most impressively complex and deeply compelling characters. She allows us to connect with her work on a truly visceral, emotional level.
