Instagram Mobile Photographers To Follow Now – Cristina H Melo @oilsforfun

I really love it when we receive spontaneous emails from mobile photographers or their representatives, requesting we take a look at their or their clients work, particularly, when the work is as diverse and as interesting as this from Cristina Melo. We have featured a selection of her work her for you to view, in addition to her contact details. Here’s a little more about her:

Cristina H Melo was born in Lisbon in 1962. She lives and works in Lisbon. She studied Psychotherapy in the UK, namely within the fields of compulsory diseases and was a pioneer in Portugal with the Minnesota method and founder of the “Era” Clinic in Lisbon where she worked for some years. By the end of the 90’s decides to leave the Clinic and start her journey traveling around the globe. During her journey, which was mainly a re-encounter with her own self, she started drawing by using geometrical lines. She returned to Lisbon in 2001, enrolled into drawing course in SNBA, and since then has become dedicated to drawing and painting. With time, her work has developed into a mixture of techniques using paint, drawing and photography. Consequently, she decided to take a professional photography course in IPF, in Lisbon, as a better way to express her creativity. She continued to study photography under the orientation of Ant—nio Julio Duarte and at the moment studies “photography and visual arts” under the supervision of Jose Luis Neto. She has been exhibiting since 2007 in Lisbon.
