iOS Photography App – Afterlight – Updated
Afterlight is a hugely successful iOS Photography app and it has now been updated to include an Instagram button. Afterlight can be found on Instagram at @Afterlightapp and you can follow with this tag #Afterlight. There is now also a light grey theme for editing, a white balance lock for the camera mode, an automatic landscape mode via iPhone and three new wallpapers. New Sochi HipstaPak Now Available
With the start of the Winter Olympics today in Sochi, Russia today, Hipstamatic have launched a brand new HipstaPak. There’s a new film and lens in this pak, the film named Rasputin is bursting with colour and will warm up many wintry images. The lens YURI 61 has been ‘inspired by the chilling beauty of Russia’ and adds cool contrast. The Sochi HipstaPak is available now in the Hipstamatic marketplace, so head over there and pick it up.

Model Releases are an essential element of professional photography and this app, Top Model Release allows you to organise your work without the headache. iOS Videography App – Cine Lumiè – Temporarily Free

iOS Photography App – ‘Photosynth’ Gets Sociable
Photosynth by Microsoft is a very competent panoramic camera replacement app but it’s now gone a little further and incorporated a Photosynth community, effectively allowing you to share your images and of course viewing others panoramics. It offers the facility to like, share and comment on images as well as the ability to build a personal newsfeed by following your favourite artists or popular topics. iOS Photography App – Image Blender – Updated – ‘Major Rewrite’
One of the most popular image editing apps for iOS photography has recently been updated. The developer Johan Andersson describes this update as a ‘major rewrite and just tries to do the same things as it did before in a better way’. Essentially Image Blender has been updated for iOS 7, there’s also 64-bit support, it’s faster and more stable with better quality. There’s the addition of the option to save as PNG for better image quality. Adonit Jot Touch support has been added too. There will also be some great updates coming through in the Spring.
