We’re delighted to reveal that the Mobile Photography Awards (MPA) 2016 Results have now been announced. Sometimes, New Year Resolutions are ambitious, sometimes less so but all are supposed to hold the promise of commitment for the entire year. This can be difficult to achieve and it can be hard to keep up the enthusiasm but not impossible. It’s important to not only enjoy big goals but also to enjoy the little things, looking at the stars at night, walking barefoot in the grass… essentially bring more peace to our lives. In many ways, following…

Flickr Group Showcase – TheAppWhisperer (TAW) – June 1, 2014
We are utterly delighted to publish this weeks’ Flickr Group Showcase, so many of you have been completely inspired! Your work is exceptional, eminent and phenomenal. We lead this week with a wonderful image by lorenka61 – this image really struck a chord with me. It reminded me of Mya Angelou’s first book ‘I know why the caged bird sings’ and of course, unfortunately she passed on this week, so I thought this would make a wonderful lead image. We then pass onto a similar and excellent one by Roger Guetta and then move into some incredibly powerful portraiture, we walk into street and then wade into some wonderful seascapes…

Olloclip Tutorial – Creating Abstract Images With The Olloclip Macro Lens
The Olloclip lens system consists of three lenses. A wide-angle, fish-eye and a macro lens. The macro lens magnifies your image roughly around ten times. My instructions for this tutorial sounded like something from Mission Impossible….. “Mr. Hayes, should you accept this assignment you must create abstract images using only the Olloclip macro lens. Your images must show what is possible with this lens and not rely on your skills with apps….” (sorry about that David, actually sounds a bit like a James Bond assignment, J). Okay…I’m…
