Rovio are hoping Angry Birds fans are going to start flocking to their latest installment, Angry Birds Space. The brand new game is available on iPhone and iPad as well as Android, PC and Mac versions. The Android version is free but does come with in-game ads, eventually Rovio will roll-out a paid for ad free Android version. Instagram Coming Soon To Android
As we’ve been reporting for some time now, Instagram is porting to Android and following co-founder of Instagram, Kevin Systroms comments over SXSW weekend, it is going to happen very soon. Systrom demoed the app briefly on stage at SXSW, not the full walk-through as they’re not quite ready for that yet. Perhaps not the Kodak inspired news you were expecting to read but on a positive note Kodak have updated their photo sharing app for Android. It’s full of new features including the facility to delete albums and photos, rotate images, share single images with social sharing, download a photo to your phone, set as wallpaper and lastly the facility to order prints and create photo products from your photos. Android – Skitch for Android – Updated
This is a very much needed update to this excellent app. Strangely in the earlier version it was not possible to save images to your SD card, but anyway, now you can. As well as that you can also draw on maps and sketch and share a route or point out a location. You can also easily move and resize text around without switching tools. Look What Samsung Have Cooked Up – An Android Controlled Oven
Well how about that, Samsung have just launched a brand new ceramic oven that can be controlled by an Android App. The app itself has 160 dishes to choose from and once you select one, over your Wi-Fi network, the oven will start cooking your meal. The oven can also speak to you and tell you how many calories the food you’re preparing has and also the weight. This sounds perfect, now all I need is a chef….anyone?
