      AppleInsider report on a new Apple patent application proporting to two cameras with different focal lengths to the iPhone. Essentially, this would allow the photographer to capture two images simultaneously. Perhaps two still images, or one still and one video capture, simultaneously, not dissimilar to the current Live Photo feature. Once captured both images could then be combined, creating a new image.       AppleInsider are reporting that the television network ABC have announced plans to broadcast a special edition of "Nightline" next week after having gained unprecedented access to document the working conditions inside factories at some of Apple’s suppliers. AppleInsider explain that "Anchor Bill Weir received permission from Apple to visit factories in Shenzhen, China in preparation for the report, which will air on Feb. 21 at 11:35 p.m. Eastern on the ABC network. ABC News claims that Weir is the "first journalist go inside [sic] the factories" to watch Apple products being made".       AppleInsider reports today that the next generation iPad 2 will sport front and rear cameras when it becomes available in early 2011. This all ties in quite nicely with the latest reports on the iPad 2 ‘leaked’ cases. The ‘Crystal Case for iPad 2nd Generation’ has appeared from Chinese accessories manufacturer Shenzhen MacTop Electronics featuring an aperture ready for a rear-facing camera similarly positioned and sized to that found on the iPhone. These ‘rumors’ are going to continue for a while yet as the excitment grows. I for one cannot wait to see the new iPad 2.
