Radical iPhone 5 Coming This August
Oh yes please Apple, make this. BGR is reporting that a radically new iPhone 5 is due to be announced this August and will be available for purchase several weeks later. We have heard it’s quite possible Apple will break tradition. According to our source, Apple may hold an event in the beginning or middle of August to announce the new iPhone, with availability to follow in the last week of August. We’re not sure if that means the iPod event will be moved up slightly, or if this will be an iPhone-specific event. Rumor – Get A Free iPad With A Mac
Well that’s one of the rumors currently circulating regarding the upcoming WWDC. The rumors stem from BGR who report: "We have been told Apple will continue to offer educational discounts on computers and either a free iPod touch, or $229 towards the purchase of any other iPod. Our source also let us know that there might be something new in the works, as well… they heard that it’s possible Apple might offer students up to $200 off an iPad with the purchase of a new Mac". BlackBerry PlayBook Out On April 10, 2011
We are sure this isn’t a deliberate ploy to stamp on Apple’s glory today with the imminent arrival of the iPad 2 (yeah right), but BGR is reporting that the BlackBerry PlayBook will hit the stores on April 10, 2011. Not only that, they go on to mention that the OS will go GM (gold master) on March 31st and when you boot up the device right out of the box, you’ll be prompted to upgrade to a newer version of the OS. Sounds good to us, let us at it RIM!
