Camera+ New For iPad – Updated – Fake App
Since posting about this ‘new’ app earlier today we have been inundated with readers telling us that this app is indeed a fake app. Apparently, the developers of this app even took the icon from TapTapTap the developers of the original Camera+. So, not only have they used their name, reputation and their icon but they are also misleading in their description too. We don’t know how this one got past Apple but it is best avoided. Guys, if you want to make a photography app, keep it original. So far this fake app is still available in the App Store but Apple have been notified so it won’t be…

Camera+ has been the number 1 best selling iPhoneography app for so long now and it looks like it’s going to stay in that postiion for quite a while longer. It has just been updated and can now handle low memory conditions much better, especially on older, more feeble devices. There’s bug fixes galore with one bug fixed where some photos weren’t able to be saved to the Camera Roll (caused by unexpected EXIF data in photos imported from some naughty little 3rd-party apps), as well as that handling photos from 3rd-party apps now adds the photos to the Lightbox immediately, there’s also improved progress status indicators so the app…

The All New iPhone 4S Camera
Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the brand new iPhone 4S is the camera, at least it almost certainly is to us. The iPhone 4S now comes packed with 8 megapixels compared to the previous 5 megapixels in the iPhone 4. The really exciting thing is the sensor, however: It’s a CMOS backside illuminated sensor. Apple says that gets you 73% more light than the iPhone 4 sensor. The newly remodeled lens system with five lens elements is impressve. The aperture at f2.4 is larger than its predesscor so lets in more light, thus ensuring your images look brighter. There’s also an advanced hybrid infrared filter that keeps out harmful…
