This week I have been in-between hospital treatments, convalescing this week, whilst preparing for further treatment next week. Eighteen months and it still goes on, some say worse now than ever before. I’ve not started disinfecting the groceries again yet though and hope never to start. Escaping time, is in essence the affect of ‘involuntary memories‘, they return us to past events. Photography, is the perfect medium to use as the physical connection to illustrate and explore this. There seems to be a general consensus that more should be done to end slavery and trafficking but still it is an area of criminal activity that appears to be on the rise, even as we now find ourselves in lockdown.
