Several tech savvy Americans have received Knighthoods in the past, including Bill Gates and Steven Spielberg but apparently Jobs’ refused to toe the party line and speak at a Labour party conference and the Knighthood offer was withdrawn by Gordon Brown, The Telegraph states today.
