Brand New Mobile Photography App – Spectre – Announced by the developers of Halide Camera
Rumoured for some time, but now Spectre is available in the App Store. Spectre is an AI-powered shutter for your iPhone, allowing the user to create interesting long exposures. The long exposures are live in the moment. Spectre saves the entire exposure process as a Live Photo, allowing the user to re-play the exposure as it happened. We hope to learn more about Spectre in the coming days as we put it through our processes. In the meantime, you can download it here.

Apple Shot on iPhone Challenge – The 2019 Winners – Announced
iPhone photographers around the world shared their best photos for Apple’s Shot on iPhone Challenge, capturing remarkable moments with the world’s most popular camera. The 10 selected winners will be featured on billboards in select cities, in Apple retail stores and online. The winning shots came from a range of models, from iPhone XS Max to iPhone 7, showcasing the quality of cameras across the line. The top 10 winners came from countries including Singapore, Germany, Belarus, Israel and the US, highlighting the global community of iPhone photographers that participated. Beloved, by Toni Morrison is one book that I read as a teenager, that really stayed with me. My great friend Rachel and I were hungry for literature, we read the same books, at the same times and then studied and reviewed them together. Rachel went on to teach A level literature at a grammar school.
