Steve Jobs’ Very First ‘Apple-1’ For Sale At Christie’s
With 8K of RAM and valued at $250,000 you might well wonder where the interest could lie in such a computer. Well, of course, it’s the history that speaks for itself. This Apple-1 is none other than one of only two hundred original Apple computers that Steve Jobs sold from his folks’ garage and Steve Wozniak designed. The DailyMail reports today.
There are very few surviving Apple-1’s and incredibly this one comes complete with the original packaging, instruction manuals and a signed letter from Steve Jobs, in which he appears to be answering questions from the customer about what monitors and keyboards are best to use.
Originally the Apple-1 was sold for $666.66. The sale at Christie’s starts on November 23, 2010.
