Sean Hayes one of our wonderfully talented and creative contributors and tremendous iPhone photographer is organising, in collaboration with fellow shooters Thérèse Cherton and Robert Buckley, the ‘BiiAM Belgitude iPhoneography Exhibition’.
This exhibition is calling for artists to submit images celebrating eccentricities and icons of Belgium, (chocolate springs to mind, although I have to admit, it’s never too far away). Submissions are due no later than July 30, 2012. All formats are considered, this does not just mean portrait, landscape, 6×6 etc but also mobile platform format. The title for this exhibition is a little misleading but i if you use an Android or other smartphone device you are very welcome to enter. The only rule is that you must take the image with the smartphone and process it on the smartphone.
All accepted images will be printed for the exhibition on A4 photographic paper. Please post your submissions on the BiiAM Facebook site with the title ‘Belgitude Expo’.
If you are not already a member, please visit the BiiAM site and apply. Only three entries will be considered for selection. Please clearly indicate on your submissions 1, 2 and 3.
The artists that have been selected will be contacted and you will be asked to send the image by email in high resolution for printing. The vernissage will be held at The Jonas Gallery in Brussels on Thursday 30th September 2012.
Good luck everyone, we will be following this event closely, we want to see you best submissions.
