StreetVIEW – ‘Eating and Drinking in Vienna’ by Laura Peischl

We’re delighted to publish Laura Peischl’s latest article to her StreetVIEW Column. This time Laura walks the streets of Vienna, poised to capture the decisive and poignant moments of people within their natural environment. At the end of the still images you will find a video of them altogether – hope you enjoy this. Over to you Laura… (foreword by Joanne Carter).

“I came to Vienna for 10 days in January and I am still here since over one month…. so now I am kind of artistically cheating on my beloved Valletta. 🙂

Walking the streets of the city I tried to capture for this column, people engaged in the same kind of activity, smoking, shopping, walking, people carrying babies or walking their dogs.

Well, for now, here is a small choice of subjects eating and drinking.

Hope you enjoy it!

Cheers from Vienna! 🙂

All pictures taken with Hipstamatic/ Lucifer/Rock B&W/ no flash”.

Finely realized winter mood – I’ve never been to Vienna, but nice to see people enjoying its finer pleasures despite the cold. Hope you get back to your warmer “rock” soon-need some photos of sun bathers, shorts and sandals :-). And nice to see your experiments with Hipstamatic as well.

Thank you so much, glad you liked it, Carlos! 🙂 Tracy, will soon be back to my sunny Malta and indeed, the weather there is almost summery so guess some sandals and shorts will play a role in the next column :).
