Rumour – iPad Air 2 Being Announced 16 October 2014…

The rumour mill is in full swing as it tends to be around this time of the year regarding Apple products. The latest rumour circulating is that Apple will announce the new iPad Air 2 at a Press Conference on 16 October 2014, it’s possible that this is not the correct date and it could be October 21, 2014 instead. That means invitations to the event should go out this week, so we’ll hear more for sure later on. If the new iPad Air is announced in October then the chances are the availability will be in November.

What can we expect inside this new device? Well rumours include an Apple A8 processor, 2GB of RAM and an 8MP rear camera.  The dimensions will possibly remain the same with resolution of 2048 x 1536, the same as the current model but the screen could come with an ‘anti reflection coating’ according to some sources.  Also there is some talk of the new iPad Air being as much as 0.5 mm thinner than the current model.

We’ll bring you more news on this as we hear…
